Regents Palace Hotel Reimagined

In my painting ‘The Regents Palace Hotel Entrance’, 2024, I look at abandoning the brush on these painted layers.  I use ‘purposeful play’ and control of some kind by tipping the canvas at times. Through experience, I know how the paint could possibly react to help me shape the ‘melting pools’ and at other times let the paint be ‘freely abandoned’ and allow chance to enter once more.
